Color Grading
Storyline Studios has the longest experience in Norway with color grading and Digital Intermediate (DI). Since 2000 we have developed our expertise within film-to-video and film-to-data-to-film. After the fusion betweem Norsk Filmstudio and The Chimney Pot in 2009 the integrating between the camera department and post-production has been in focus to optimalize usage of all cameras, both analog and digital. Our team consisting of technicians, colorists, post-production and camera department offers a unique combination of knowledge and skill in Scandinavia. Together we are aiming to achieve always being able to provide your production with the best solution within the technical and economical terms we are presented with.
Julien Alary has worked as a colorist in our company since 2001. He has a film scientifical education from the University in Montpellier and set-experience as his background. Julien (more commonly known as Jules) has worked as a colorist in over 1000 commercials, 30 movies and lots of music videos and tv-productions. Camilla Holst Vea begun working for our color grading department in 2004, and has climbed the stairs from color grading assistant all the way to being the color grading manager she is today. Camilla has a bachelor in visual media and a broad technical experience as her background. She has worked on commercials, tv-series, music videos and short films. Check out her Filmography
Torulf Henriksen is our technical manager. Torulf has the longest experience in Norway within post-production for movies with his 20 years in the business. He is a very important part of our knowledge base for image editing. Together with our experienced colorists, post-production and camera department he is a sentral part of the steering wheel that drives development forwards, with digital recording equipment and post-productions in mind.
